Esau, Mike. The Bluebell Railway. A Pictorial Impression. The Bluebell Railway was the first of the standard gauge lines closed by BR to re-open as a steam passenger service in August 1960. This was the first book to be published about this preserved line. With an introduction by Johnny Morris and a list of locomotives and rolling stock as of 1975, it is very well illustrated with both b/w and colour photos with detailed captions.
